Privacy Policy

Effective September 7, 2026

This policy explains what Tollens ("we", "us") collects when you use tollens.bio, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect

We only collect information you type into our waitlist survey:

We do not use cookies, analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or fingerprinting. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) to operate the site.

Why we collect it

The legal bases we rely on are your consent (for the newsletter) and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (for everything else).

Where it is stored

Survey responses are stored in a private repository on GitHub, and the site is hosted on Vercel. Both are located in the United States. Access is limited to the Tollens founding team.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers above, who process it on our behalf, and where required by law. If we ever introduce you to another party on the platform, we will ask you first.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you are on the waitlist or until you ask us to delete it. If we shut down the waitlist, we will delete responses within 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you the newsletter. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. To exercise any of them, email us at support@tollens.bio and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

The site is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced to people on the waitlist by email.
